Changsha · Orange Isle & Wuyi Square
The winter in Changsha is mild and warm, and my journey in Xiangchu started at Orange Isle. The clear waves of the Xiang River rippled gently, and the giant sculpture of Young Mao Zedong stood majestically in the center of the isle, filling me with awe. Standing in front of the sculpture, the lines of the poem about youthful vigor lingered in my mind, still shocking after a hundred years.
I met a group of veteran soldiers in military uniforms taking photos with the sculpture, and their reverence made me tear up with a strong sense of national pride.
In the evening, Wuyi Square was bustling with people, and I tasted local snacks like stinky tofu and the famous Orchid Latte from Cha Yan Yue Se, feeling the lively life of Changsha.
长沙・橘子洲头 & 五一广场
冬日的长沙温润和煦，我的湘楚之行从橘子洲头启幕。湘江碧波轻漾，江风拂面，毛主席青年艺术雕塑巍然伫立在洲心，目光远眺，意气风发，直让人满心敬畏。站在雕塑前，“恰同学少年，风华正茂；书生意气，挥斥方遒”的诗句在脑海中萦绕，百年前的少年豪情，跨越时空依旧震撼人心。
偶遇一群七八十岁的退伍老兵，他们身着军装，手擎红旗，缓缓走到雕塑前合影，岁月刻下的皱纹遮不住眼中的崇敬与深情。那一刻，民族自豪感与家国情怀在心底翻涌，我不禁热泪盈眶，深深懂得这份红色情怀的珍贵。
傍晚的五一广场霓虹璀璨，人声鼎沸。茶颜悦色的幽兰拿铁绵密香甜，黑色经典臭豆腐外酥里嫩、鲜辣入味，穿梭在熙攘的人群中，尝着地道湘味，指尖触到的，是长沙最鲜活的人间烟火。
Changsha · Yuelu Academy & Du Fujiangge
If Wuyi Square is the lively life of Changsha, Yuelu Academy is its cultural soul. Walking through the thousand-year-old academy with blue tiles and gray bricks, I could almost hear the sound of reading aloud from a thousand years ago, feeling the profound heritage of Huxiang culture.
In the evening, I climbed Du Fujiangge and read about the life of the great poet Du Fu. He lived a wandering life but always cared about the country and the people, and his poems touched my heart deeply. I seemed to have a cross-time dialogue with him, truly understanding the emotions behind his poems. In the evening, I tasted classic Hunan dishes, savoring the unique warmth of this city.
长沙・岳麓书院 & 杜甫江阁
若说五一广场是长沙的烟火，那岳麓书院便是长沙的文脉。青瓦灰砖，曲径通幽，千年学府的书香氤氲在空气中，缓步穿行，仿佛能听见千年前的朗朗书声，湖湘文化的源远流长，尽在这一砖一瓦间。
傍晚登杜甫江阁，与橘子洲头隔江相望。在阁中细读诗圣的一生，他半生颠沛流离，却始终心怀家国，在困境中写下 “安得广厦千万间，大庇天下寒士俱欢颜” 的千古名句。指尖拂过阁中镌刻的诗词，仿佛与杜甫进行了一场跨时空的对话，我不再是单纯背诵诗句，而是真正读懂了背后的忧国忧民之情，读懂了中华诗词蕴藏的精神力量。傍晚寻一家湘菜馆，剁椒鱼头的鲜辣、小炒黄牛肉的嫩滑，浓郁的湘味里，是这座城市独有的温情。
Zhangjiajie · Tianmen Mountain
Farewell to the cultural heritage of Changsha, I headed for the natural wonder of Tianmen Mountain, known as "the first sacred mountain in western Hunan". Taking the alpine cable car up the mountain, I was surrounded by rolling mountains and lingering clouds, as if in a fairyland.
Stepping on the glass plank road, I had a panoramic view of the stunning scenery, and climbing the 999 stone steps to Tianmen Cave, I was shocked by the magnificent natural landscape, feeling the vastness of the world and the magic of nature.
张家界・天门山
告别长沙的人文底蕴，奔赴张家界的自然奇境，第一站便是素有 “湘西第一神山” 之称的天门山。乘坐高山客运索道上山，缆车缓缓攀升，脚下是连绵群山、幽深峡谷，云雾在山间缭绕，奇峰怪石若隐若现，宛若置身云海仙境。
踏上天门山玻璃栈道，透明玻璃下是万丈深渊，步步惊心，却能将山间绝美风光一览无余。攀登 999 级天梯抵达天门洞，巨大的天然石洞宛若通往天际的大门，清风穿洞而过，云雾缭绕，站在洞口俯瞰群山，只觉天地辽阔，心襟豁然开朗。目之所及皆是大自然的鬼斧神工，每一步都让我感叹自然的神奇，心生敬畏。
Zhangjiajie · National Forest Park
Walking into Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, I finally saw the Zhangjiajie landform mentioned in the high school geography textbook with my own eyes. The unique quartz sandstone peak forests rose from the ground, shocking me deeply and making me feel the charm of geography.
When I reached the One-Line Sky, the slippery and narrow mountain road made me want to give up, but I was touched by the perseverance of the old and young people around me. I gritted my teeth and kept going, and when I climbed to a high place, I saw the magnificent scenery of the peak forest. At that moment, I understood that only with persistence and courage can we overcome difficulties and see mor beautiful scenery.
张家界・国家森林公园走进张家界国家森林公园，我终于亲眼见到了高中地理课本中反复提及的张家界地貌。一座座石英砂岩峰林拔地而起，形态各异，或如擎天巨柱，或如仙人伫立，在云雾映衬下更显神秘秀美。课本中的文字描述化作眼前真实的地质奇观，我被彻底震撼，也初次体会到地理学科的独特魅力。
行至一线天，陡峭的石壁仅容一人通过，山路湿滑难行，爬至半途我便心生退意。可抬头望见老老小小相互搀扶，步履坚定地向前走，他们眼中的执着与勇气深深触动了我。我咬牙跟上，最终成功穿越一线天。当登上高处，壮阔的峰林风光尽收眼底，云雾流转，阳光洒在峰峦之上，美得让人心醉。那一刻我豁然开朗：唯有坚持与勇气，方能跨越险阻，看见更美的风景，这是登山的道理，亦是人生的真谛。
Fenghuang Ancient Town
On the last day of the trip, I arrived at Fenghuang Ancient Town on the bank of the Tuo River, which is exactly the Border Town described by Mr. Shen Congwen. The bluestone roads were polished smooth by years, and the stilted buildings were built along the clear Tuo River, making me feel the simplicity and beauty of the border town in the book.
I put on the Miao costume and wandered through the streets of the ancient town, passing by shops with Miao silver ornaments and hand-woven sachets, listening to the songs by the river, and feeling the peace and comfort of the ancient town deeply.
凤凰古城
行程的最后一日，抵达沱江之畔的凤凰古城，这里是沈从文先生笔下《边城》的模样。青石板路被岁月打磨得光滑锃亮，江边的吊脚楼依水而建，沱江水缓缓流淌，水清见底，倒映着吊脚楼与蓝天，眼前的一切，都与书中的边城完美重合。我仿佛看见翠翠在江边等待的身影，真切感受到边城的淳朴与美好。
潇湘结语
This five-day journey in Hunan ended with the evening breeze of the Tuo River and the lights of Fenghuang, with my bag full of scenery and my heart full of insights. From the cultural vibrancy of Changsha to the natural grandeur of Zhangjiajie, and then to the poetic softness of Fenghuang Ancient Town, every part of the journey brought unique encounters and gains.
This trip let me meet the world in books face to face. The Zhangjiajie landform in geography textbooks, Orange Isle and Du Fujiangge in poems, and the Border Town in literary works all turned from words into reality, making me truly understand the profound meaning of "Reading ten thousand books and traveling ten thousand miles". Reading is inner accumulation, and traveling is outer exploration. Only by integrating the knowledge in books with the mountains and rivers under our feet can we truly understand the world and life.This trip is not only a tour of mountains and rivers, but also a spiritual growth, making me love the beautiful mountains and rivers of this land more and understand the significance of inheriting the Chinese cultural context. In the days to come, with the gains and insights from this trip, I am willing to continue to take books as sails and steps as oars, meet more beauty on the way of exploring the world, and tell more stories belonging to China.
五日的湘楚之行，在沱江的晚风与凤凰的灯火中落幕，行囊里装满了风景，心底里沉淀着感悟。从长沙的人文烟火到张家界的自然奇伟，再到凤凰古城的诗意温柔，每一段路途，都有不一样的遇见；每一次驻足，都有不一样的收获。
这场旅行，让我与书本里的世界撞个满怀。地理课本中的张家界地貌，诗词里的橘子洲头与杜甫江阁，文学作品中的凤凰边城，都从文字变成了眼前的真实，让我真切体会到 “读万卷书，行万里路” 的深层意义。读书是向内积累，行路是向外探索，唯有将笔墨间的知识与脚下的山河相融，才能真正读懂世界，读懂生活。这场旅行，不仅是一次山河漫游，更是一次心灵的成长，让我更加热爱这片土地的锦绣山河，更懂传承中华文脉的意义。往后的日子，愿带着这份旅途的收获与感悟，继续以书为帆，以足为桨，在探索世界的路上，遇见更多美好，讲述更多属于中国的故事。
