2026年寒假，辽宁工程技术大学基础教学部外语教研室与外语党支部发起特别倡议，号召同学们在假期走出校园，用脚步丈量祖国的大好河山，开展“旅行打卡”活动，聚焦“行走·讲述·传承”——Travel Far, Tell China’s Story, Pass On the Spirit of China，鼓励学生在旅途中亲身感知祖国壮美山河与深厚文化，用英语向世界讲述真实、立体的中国，传承中华民族的精神血脉。
大家用英语讲述中国故事——分享历史与文化、探访博物馆、介绍家乡风貌，在行走与表达中厚植民族自豪感、增强文化自信。本期推文分享的是电气25-2班翟美月同学的寒假旅行plog，她带我们走进江南，感受独特魅力。
Travel Plog
从黄浦江的霓虹到西湖的烟雨，再到平江路的青石板，沪杭苏的旅程是摩登与古雅的双向奔赴。
From the neon lights along the Huangpu River to the misty rain over the West Lake, and then to the bluestone slabs of Pingjiang Road, the journey through Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Suzhou is a beautiful convergence of modernity and classic elegance.
As a freshman, I embarked on a journey to three distinctive cities in the Jiangnan region of China during this meaningful winter vacation. This journey allowed me to immerse myself in the beautiful scenery of Jiangnan. Invited by my English teacher, I would like to share my travel plog here.
上海 外滩
The Bund
摩登与烟火共生，历史与未来交汇

黄浦江在万千灯火的倒影下波光粼粼。渡轮悄然滑过，留下银色的尾迹，外滩的霓虹光影将江面染成金蓝交织的色调——这是一场鲜活灵动的灯光盛宴。
The Huangpu River glistens with lights. Ferries move quietly across the water, and the Bund’s colorful glow turns the river blue and gold—it’s a beautiful, lively light show.
武康路
Wukang Road
武康路是一条迷人的街道，有老树，洋房，和悠闲的氛围。它不仅仅是一条美丽的街道，更保存了老上海的记忆与中国近现代史的精神。
Wukang Road is a charming street with old trees, historic houses, and a relaxed atmosphere.It is not only a pretty street, but also a keeper of old Shanghai's memory and China’s modern history.
杭州.西湖
West Lake
西湖以其秀丽的山水闻名，宛如一幅鲜活的中国画卷。
West Lake is famous for its beautiful mountains and clear water. It’s like a living Chinese painting.
西湖流传着《白蛇传》等古老传说，自古以来便激发了无数诗人与艺术家的创作灵感。
West Lake is full of ancient legends, like the Story of the White Snake, and has inspired countless poets and artists throughout history.
夕阳将西湖晕染成一片金橙交融的瑰丽色调。

苏州
Suzhou
拙政园是苏州最大、最著名的古典园林，有着500多年的历史，也是世界文化遗产。园子里有大片湖水，湖面上有很多石桥和亭子，周围环绕着绿树和古老的建筑。这里的设计非常巧妙，一步一景，能让人感受到中国古代园林的宁静与美丽。
Humble Administrator’s Garden is the largest and most famous classical garden in Suzhou. It has a history of over 500 years and is a World Heritage Site. There is a big lake in the garden, with many stone bridges and pavilions on the water. Green trees and old buildings are all around the lake. The design is very smart—every step brings a new view. You can feel the peace and beauty of ancient Chinese gardens here.
乌镇
Wuzhen
乌镇是中国一座美丽的古水乡，以石桥、黑瓦房屋和贯穿街巷的静谧河流而闻名。
Wuzhen is a beautiful ancient water town in China, famous for its stone bridges, black-tiled houses and quiet rivers that run through the streets.
西栅更大、规划更完善，以迷人的夜景和更好的设施而闻名。
Xizha is bigger and more developed. It is famous for its charming night views and better facilities.
东栅是乌镇较老的部分，小巧而热闹，充满了当地人的生活气息。
Dongzha is the older part of Wuzhen. It is small, lively, and full of local people’ daily life.
美食
江南美食讲究精致与鲜美。酱卤鸭色泽红亮，肉质酥烂咸甜；牛肉汤粉汤浓肉嫩，温暖开胃；海棠饼形似花朵，外皮酥脆内馅香甜；松鼠桂鱼外酥里嫩，酸甜可口；蟹粉馄饨皮薄馅大，充满蟹的香，梅菜扣肉饼焦香薄脆，梅菜的咸鲜与猪肉的脂香完美交融，越嚼越香，吃一口就满心欢喜。
Jiangnan food is famous for its delicacy and fresh taste. Braised Duck is shiny red, tender and savory-sweet. Beef Noodle Soup has a rich broth and tender meat, warming you up. Crabapple Cakes are flower-shaped, with a crispy crust and sweet filling. Squirrel-Shaped Mandarin Fish is crispy outside and tender inside, with a sweet and sour flavor. Crab Meat Wontons have thin skins and big fillings, full of fresh crab taste.Preserved Vegetable and Pork Pancake is crispy and thin. It tastes salty and savory, and gets more delicious as you chew. One bite makes you happy.
这四座城市是中国传统文化的鲜活载体。上海将老弄堂的烟火气与现代文明交融，证明传统在摩登时代依然充满活力。苏州的古典园林是千年东方美学的杰作，一砖一瓦都在诉说古人的造园智慧。杭州依西湖而居，山水之间沉淀着深厚的诗词文化与历史传说。嘉兴乌镇作为江南水乡的典范，完整保留了古桥、古宅与民俗，让世界看到中国古镇的原真风貌。它们共同向世界展示了中国文化的传承与魅力。
These four cities are living treasures of traditional Chinese culture. Shanghai mixes the warmth of old lanes with modern life, proving tradition stays alive in a modern world. Suzhou’s classical gardens are masterpieces of Eastern beauty, showing ancient Chinese wisdom in every brick. Hangzhou, beside West Lake, is full of poetry and old stories in its hills and water. Wuzhen in Jiaxing, a model water town, keeps old bridges, houses and customs intact, letting the world see China’s true ancient style. Together, they show China’s cultural heritage and charm to the world.
我将江南的诗意与故事藏进记忆，带着这份美好，继续前行。
I kept the poetry and stories of Jiangnan in my memory, and I will move forward with this beauty.
