2026年寒假，辽宁工程技术大学基础教学部外语教研室与外语党支部发起特别倡议，号召同学们在假期走出校园，用脚步丈量祖国的大好河山，开展“旅行打卡”活动，聚焦“行走·讲述·传承”——Travel Far, Tell China’s Story, Pass On the Spirit of China，鼓励学生在旅途中亲身感知祖国壮美山河与深厚文化，用英语向世界讲述真实、立体的中国，传承中华民族的精神血脉。
大家用英语讲述中国故事——分享历史与文化、探访博物馆、介绍家乡风貌，在行走与表达中厚植民族自豪感、增强文化自信。本期推文分享的是信管25-2班王萧雅同学的寒假旅行plog，她带我们走进浪漫之都，大连。
Hello everyone! Inspired by the “Travel far, Tell China’s Story, Pass On the Spirit of China” initiative launched by our school, and at the invitation and with the encouragement of my teacher Ms. Li from FLTRP English, I’m absolutely thrilled to share an amazing winter vacation journey to Dalian, the “Northern Pearl” on the coast of the Bohai Sea.
大连亦被称为浪漫之都
Dalian is renowned as the City of Romance.
大连的海湾孕育着北境最清澈的浪，冲过蔚蓝的港口，向那无尽的浪漫的海岸线倾斜而下。
Its coastal bays cradle the clearest waves of the North, sweeping past azure harbors and rolling toward its endlessly romantic shoreline.
星海广场
Xinghai Square
星海广场是亚洲最大的广场。海风卷着潮声，把广场吹成一只巨大的贝壳，盛着北方的天光。你的影子被无限拉长，投向那本摊开的百年城石雕书——足迹如凝固的浪，从陆地，一步一步，走向无垠的蔚蓝。
Xinghai Square , Asia’s largest urban square. The sea breeze rolls in with the sound of tides, turning the square into a giant seashell, brimming with the northern light. Your shadow stretches endlessly, falling upon the open stone book of the Century City Sculpture — footprints like frozen waves, marching from the land, step by step, toward the boundless blue.
银沙滩
Silver Sand Beach
海浪把夕阳揉成碎金，铺在弯曲的海岸线。黝黑的礁石，白色的浪花，时间在这里慢成退潮时留下的一痕痕水印。一只小螃蟹悄悄地推开石门，就被守候的目光逮了个正着。孩子的手猛地一捂；沙滩上只留下了一个小坑和咯咯地笑——螃蟹早就钻进了他的童年。
The waves knead the sunset into golden fragments, strewn along the winding shore. Dark rocks, white spray—time slows here, soft as the faint marks left by the ebbing tide. A small crab quietly pushes open the stone gate, only to be caught by waiting eyes. A child’s hands quickly clench down; only a little pit and giggles remain on the beach. — The crab has scuttled sideways, deep into his childhood.
中山广场
Zhongshan Square
夕阳给广场中央的青铜雕塑镀上最后一层金箔，音乐声散去白鸽落回百年建筑的肩头，像时光收回它振动的翅膀。每当夜幕降临成百上千的老百姓汇聚在这里随着乐曲翩翩起舞，场面欢乐祥和。
The setting sun gilds the bronze sculpture at the square’s center with one last layer of golden light. As the music fades, white doves rest on the century-old buildings, as if time draws back its fluttering wings. When night falls, hundreds of local people gather here, dancing joyfully to the melody, in a scene full of peace and warmth.
旅顺博物馆
Lüshun Museum
黄海的风穿过百叶窗的缝隙，在汉代陶俑耳畔低语——那些被异国舰炮震落的釉彩，终将由我们这代人，一寸一寸拾回文明的温度。青铜鼎腹部的雷文与饕餮，曾被沙俄的皮尺与日军标签反复拓印。如今，在白玉山俯瞰的暮色里，我们站成新的仪仗——让黄海的风替所有失语的礼器，发出龙吟般的回响。
The wind of the Yellow Sea slips through the blinds, whispering softly beside the Han Dynasty pottery figurines—The glazes once shaken off by foreign gunfire will be restored by our generation, bit by bit, to the warmth of civilization. The thunder and taotie patterns on bronze cauldrons were repeatedly traced by Russian tapes and Japanese labels. Now, in the twilight overlooking from Baiyu Mountain, we stand as a new guard. Let the wind of the Yellow Sea speak for all silent ritual vessels, sending forth a resounding echo like the roar of a dragon.
大连自然博物馆
Dalian Natural Museum
大连自然博物馆静驻于星海湾畔，远望如泊岸的白舟。阳光透过弧形穹顶，在巨鲸的标本上流淌成静谧的浪。晨光斜入鲸落处，时间在标本间凝固成浪。大连自然博物馆的穹顶下，悬着整个海洋的叹息——那几头头巨鲸的标本，正以静默的弧度，游弋在蔚蓝的梦境里。
Dalian Natural Museum stands quietly by Xinghai Bay, looking like a white ship moored to the shore. Sunlight streams through the curved dome, flowing over the giant whale specimen as quiet waves. Morning light shines into the hall where the whales rest; time solidifies between their specimens like frozen tides. Beneath the dome of Dalian Natural Museum hangs the sigh of the entire ocean. These enormous whale specimens drift silently in a blue dream, holding the curve of the sea.

Dalian cuisine
大连的海风穿过街巷，把咸鲜凝成琥珀色的对虾、甜润如秋野的海胆黄，把铁板鱿鱼的焦香和鱼汤豆腐的乳白炊烟，糅成这座城独有的、带着潮汐节律的人间烟火。
The sea breeze in Dalian blows through the streets. It carries the taste of the ocean, making fresh shrimp amber-colored and sea urchin smooth and sweet. It mixes the nice smell of grilled squid and the white steam of fish soup with tofu. This is the special, warm life of Dalian, moving with the rise and fall of the tide.

大连之旅的尾声，往往在某个不经意的瞬间悄然来临——可能是海风最后一次拂过发梢的温柔，也可能是夕阳在星海广场的跨海大桥上收尽最后一缕金光。这座城市留给你的，或许不只是记忆，更是一种对山海之城的眷恋。大连的独特魅力，在于它山海交融的气魄里，蕴藏着中华民族面向蔚蓝的探索勇气与坚韧精神。这座城市曾历经风浪，却如岸边礁石般，始终以沉稳而开放的姿态，迎送着时代的潮汐。临别时，这山海之间的精神印记，会与海风的咸涩、街巷的烟火一同被你珍藏。它不只是一段旅程的终点，更是一份关于辽阔与坚韧的无声共鸣。
The end of the journey to Dalian often arrives quietly, when you least expect it. It may be the gentle touch of the sea breeze brushing your hair one last time, or the sunset fading its final golden glow over the cross-sea bridge at Xinghai Square. What the city leaves behind is not only memories, but also a deep affection for this land of mountains and sea. Dalian’s unique charm lies in its blend of mountains and ocean, carrying the courage and perseverance of the Chinese nation as we reach out toward the blue sea. The city has weathered many storms, yet like the rocks along the shore, it remains calm and open, embracing the tides of time. As you depart, the spirit of these mountains and sea, together with the salty wind and the warm life of the streets, will stay in your heart. It is not just the end of a journey, but a silent bond with vastness and strength.
